A couple of months ago during one of PK's messages (The Vision series) he posed the question of what is your vision. I thought about it and came to the quick conclusion that it had to do with music. This is one of the gifts that God has given me. I allready have the first part of my vision down, playing in the worship team and even venturing into writing a few songs, part two started last Tuesday when I started a broadcast class at JOY FM. We are learning the basics of working in a radio station and yes I've had flashbacks of WKRP when I walk into the control room. We are building each week from what we learned the previous week. The first week we got to record a public service announcemnt known in the radio world as a PSA and then worked on giving the weather with the music playing in the background making sure not to talk over the JOY FM part.
This week we put those two together and recorded the weather. Then we recorded the PSA again but this time had to start a song towards the end of it and introduce it, pretty cool. Then we had to start recording one song, act like it was over and fade it out while saying who it was then doing the PSA again and before it was over starting the next song. Next week we will be building more on those items and the 5th week which will be March 20th we will actually be on the air live at some point between 7 and 8:30 pm so check it out if you can at 88.9 on your FM dial.
Part three of my vision has also been started and I will fill you in more on that when it is announced in the coming days. With all this going on it just shows me how God can use a goof ball like me using the gifts and talents that come from him. Isn't God the greatest.

Jumping on the bandwagon
I am officially throwing my hat, hand, thoughts,.....etc into the blogging world. Don't know where it will go, what it will say or what will happen but it should be an interesting ride. I do know it will be primative for a while as we wait to purchase a new computer with more poop to run and do more stuff, the rubber bands on the old one are getting thin.
I will say that there will be alot of talk about God, family, music, struggles, fun things and hopefully some things that make people go hmmmm.
So for now we will just take it as it comes.
