Spread some blogging love

If you get a chance today go here and wish my buddy Coby a happy birthday. She did a great job yesterday with the signing on Famous One. She is also a great role model for my daughter as she is a helper with the junior high youth. Taylor has got her and a couple of others (Jennifer and Kate) as good godly women who are good role models for her to learn from. Isn't youth group just the coolest. Speaking of youth group we went out last night and gathered food for the food pantry at the church. Although we didn't win, we collected almost 70 items for the food pantry and add that with what the junior high youth got and the other 3 teams collected the food pantry is going to get a nice little boost. It was fun and had a good time. Even beat Samon in a little Madden 08, first time I've played that on PS3 let alone first time I've ever played that particular game. It was just fun hanging with the youth. Isn't youth just the coolest thing.

Afterwards went on a little walk with the misses and we went and welcomed the new neighbors to the area, the Ridges who moved in to a house on the street behind us. It should be a fun summer with a few families we've hung out with before both moving into town now. Yesterday was a fun service, I really liked the small group atmosphere within the service, that was a good touch. Pastor Jeff is going to be a little leary of going around anyone after getting it again yesterday, it was funny though. It was just a good day all around and I think that the presence of God was most defineately there.

Song list:
Your Grace Is Enough - Chris Tomlin/Matt Maher (Happy I didn't mess up the opening riff)
How Awesome Is The Lord Most High - Chris Tomlin
Famous One - Chris Tomlin (Cool with the signing Coby)
Indescribable - Chris Tomlin
All Who Are Thirsty - Vinyard/Kutless
Majesty - Jack Hayford (never heard this song before Thursday and it was cool)

Thrice left.
